Foundations

Technology is used daily in my classroom.  If following the Technology Integration Matrix I would rate myself and my classroom in the following way:
Active - We fit in the Infusion area because I provide the students with what needs to be done and they have the freedom to choose how they go about reaching that goal.
Collaborative - We fit in the Adaptation area because my students do communication with me and with each other through different programs, but every one is using the same program at the same time.  For example, all presentations, regardless of using PowerPoint or Prezi are uploaded into their Google drive for evaluation and peer review.
For Constructed, Authentic, and Goal Directed I believe my classroom fits in the Adaptive area.  Students use technology in each of these areas; however, for the most part I am telling them which program to use.

By the end of the school year I think that I could reasonably be able to be in the Infusion category for most of the areas.  I am already working on giving the students more freedom to choose how they want to do things and how they want to receive their information and have lessons taught to them.
